MS in Criminal Justice

John Duncan

After receiving his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma, Dr. John Duncan went on to complete several years of post-doctoral research in biological psychology at the OU College of Medicine. With over 27 years of experience in law enforcement, Dr. Duncan’s expertise is frequently sought out, regularly representing the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics in state, national, and international settings. He is considered one of the world’s top authorities on methamphetamine manufacturing and abuse and has been frequently published in both academic and law enforcement journals.

Paul Ketchum

Before joining the faculty at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Paul Ketchum taught middle and high school students in inner-city Los Angeles and worked with at-risk juveniles in Texas. Dr. Ketchum’s research focuses on racial attitudes and the impact of race on the juvenile and criminal justice systems. Among his many accomplishments in the field, Dr. Ketchum implemented a college preparation program for disadvantaged students. This program was designed to increase the number of disadvantaged students eligible to attend college.

Mark McCoy

Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Mark McCoy had a long and illustrious career in law enforcement. Dr. McCoy worked for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) for over 20 years, rising to the rank of Deputy Inspector. In 2012, Dr. McCoy was selected as a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Digital Forensics. An expert in his field, Dr. McCoy has co-authored a book and numerous journal articles and is highly sought after for presenting at national and international conferences. .

MA in Museum Studies

James Yasko

Prior to joining the faculty of Oklahoma University, James Yasko held positions at the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum as the Manager of Visitor Education and The Hermitage, Home of President Andrew Jackson as the Director of Education & Interpretation. He has also been published in OU’s Journal of Museum Studies and The American Alliance of Museums magazine. Yasko received his master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma and his B.A. in History from Abilene Christian University.

Caroline Goldthorpe

Caroline Goldthorpe has dedicated her career to preserving history and educating the public through her work in various museums across the globe. She is a leading authority regularly sought out to speak on topics related to costume, textiles, museum ethics and issues, and collections management. In the past, Goldthorpe held positions at the Museum of London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. She received her B.A. in History of Art from the University of East Anglia and her master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma.

MA in Organizational Leadership

Leslie Miller

Dr. Leslie Miller is an organizational and research psychologist. Her area of expertise includes developing and implementing impact evaluation studies and conducting assessment-based coaching. She has over 20 years of experience teaching, researching, and working directly with organizations to help them acquire, develop and retain talent. An accomplished author in her field, Dr. Miller won the prestigious SAGE Cornerstone Author Award for her book Foundations of Psychological Testing: A Practical Approach.

Paul Gebb

Dr. Paul Gebb is an educator and leader of change management who received his Ed.D. in Higher Education and Organizational Change from Benedictine University. A career-long educator, Dr. Gebb previously worked as the President and Board Member of Deer Creek Public Schools where he oversaw the school system’s education programming. He also served on the International Subcommittee for External Partnerships and Outreach Committee (EPOC) for the POD Network, an organization dedicated to advancing the research and practice of educational development in higher education.

Margaret Durr

Dr. Margaret Durr is an HR Business Partner with the Global HR Partner Group, a company that helps organizations develop and coach great leaders. With over 20 years of experience in leadership and development with several Fortune 500 companies such as Wal-Mart, Safeway, and Anheuser-Busch, Dr. Durr has been recognized for her ability to impact both the strategy and implementation of human resource development initiatives. Her areas of expertise are competency models, talent management, coaching, assessment, and human resource management.
